The HUB Ribbon Cutting

The Harrisburg Uptown Building Ribbon Cutting

After The HUB groundbreaking a few months prior, everyone in the local community eagerly awaited the coming of this new facility. On August 21, 2018, the ribbon was cut on The Harrisburg Uptown Building (HUB) and the doors were officially opened. The HUB is located on The HUB Campus and also houses The HUB Veterans Housing (HUB-VH).  The HUB Campus represents the vision of Tarik Casteel & Juanita Edrington. Formerly the Hamilton Health Center located at 1821 Fulton Street, The HUB Campus offers a facility with 18,000 square feet of premier space.  Initial occupants and service providers will be CRAM; The L.E.A.D.E.R. Project; T.L.C. Construction & Renovations LLC; TLC Work-based Training Program, Inc.; and the Pennsylvania Diversity Coalition (PADC). Working together, we plan to expand services to greater Harrisburg and continue to rebuild the neighboring community. Our rebuilding will create affordable properties in the immediate neighborhood. We believe that, when realized, this vision can be replicated throughout the state and the nation.
