TLC Construction & Renovations, LLC was selected as an MBE HUD Section 3 developer in the City of Harrisburg for the Harrisburg Housing Authority (HHA) for a $2-3 million redevelopment of 80 HHA properties in key locations in the city that need positive neighborhood impact. The total cost of the redevelopment is between $2-$3 million.
HUB Veterans Housing received one of the first-ever minority developer tax credit grants from the Pennsylvania Housing and Finance Agency (PHFA) and was awarded the tax credit on its first application where TLC Construction functioned as the general contractor.
TLC Construction and Renovations, LLC broke ground on The HUB Campus, which is The Harrisburg Uptown Building (The HUB) and The HUB Veterans Housing (HUB VH). The HUB, the building that formerly housed Hamilton Health Center, is currently under renovation. The HUB Veterans Housing LP (HUB VH), which is new construction, is underway as a result of an awarded tax credit through the investor Fulton Bank, to build a 20 one-bedroom apartment facility for veterans. Tarik’s for-profit, TLC Construction & Renovation, and his aunt, Juanita Edrington-Grant, non-profit, Christian Recovery Aftercare Ministry, Inc. (CRAM), set out to purchase property to implement the vision which is now known as The HUB Campus.
